Boat Share Syndicate

Apart from the currently operating Deep V 310S Express syndicate which has shares now available, all the other boats listed as well as similar models are ready for immediate delivery. There is no long construction delay and boats are available for immediate delivery. As soon as a syndicate is complete, these boats can be acquired. A deposit of $1000, paid after the syndicate agreement has been returned, will confirm your interest in purchasing a share in a particular boat. The balance of the purchase price will be due when the syndicate is ready to proceed. A report from a qualified Marine Surveyor will be commissioned to confirm the condition of the boat, and subject to satisfactory reports, MDBS Whitsundays, a registered Marine Broker, will negotiate the purchase of the boat on behalf of the syndicate and arrange delivery to the selected syndicate base. Any saving in the purchase price of a boat will be passed back to the new syndicate members. Suitable near new boats, all extensively optioned, are currently located in Airlie Beach, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sydney. Each boat to be acquired will be available for inspection prior to final settlement whilst undergoing inspection and assessment by a marine surveyor.

All deposits, as well as the balance of the purchase price of a share, will be held in a registered marine brokerage trust account and will be fully refundable to the purchaser if the syndicate does not proceed to the satisfaction of all parties within a designated time frame.

Ongoing Maintenance costs

The annual maintenance charge will depend on the actual costs incurred and are shared equally among all syndicate members, thereby reducing the cost of ownership of the boat.
Annual costs include:
  • Marina fees
  • Insurance
  • Antifouling
  • Regular servicing by qualified marine dealer – Whitsunday Marine and Diesel, Airlie Beach
  • Any machinery and equipment repairs
  • Cleaning
  • Registration
  • Membership of local Coast Guard / Volunteer Marine Rescue (VMR) service

Management by Whitsunday Boat Share

The hassles of boat ownership will not be your worry thanks to the expert services of Whitsunday Boat Share.
The low annual management fee will provide:
  • Co-ordination of cleaning (interior and exterior) following use by each owner *
  • Co-ordination of all maintenance activities, including repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance *
  • Maintenance and administration of the on-line booking facility
  • Facilitation of comprehensive insurance for the syndicate including personal indemnity insurance for all members
  • Expert advice and support for owner when utilising the vessel
  • Clean towels and bedding for each owner’s use
  • Replenishment of the vessel following use **
  • Assistance with berthing if required
  • Off site secure undercover car parking available
  • Owner’s equipment removed from boat after use, stored and returned when required.
  • Arriving by air, no problem, you can be picked up and returned to the airport.
